About Us
Established in 1995
Based in Johannesburg Duotone Perfection, a company started by Shaun & Kathy Schutte 28 years ago, each of us having finished our apprenticeships in our various fields, Kathy as a DTP operator and proofreader and Shaun as a scanner operator and photolithographer.
The company started out servicing the Printing Industry and Advertising Agencies, supplying litho film and repro to the trade, due to the ever-changing technology and the introduction of Computer to Plate. We aligned ourselves with one of the larger printers in Johannesburg, and began on a new path to becoming pre-press specialists, having quickly rearranged our mindset and having our minds blown away by the fast pace of the printing industry we took a leap of faith outside of our comfort zone and entered into the short run digital market, having established a foothold in the market and with three digital presses to back us up we just LOVE to print digital.

From typesetting, design, proofing, samples, certified fogra’s, film (negatives, positives) – yes, that’s correct, we still do a film for foiling, embossing, UV, and positives for silk screeners. Digital solutions (what we love to do and do best) to those larger litho print jobs, packaging, boxes, paper bags, making of dies and die cutting and various kinds of finishing for your books and magazines, lamination and encapsulating and banners
